By accessing or using the Lokel Systems platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Lokel Systems provides a community-owned housing platform that connects tenants, landlords, and contractors. Our services include property listings, payment processing, maintenance coordination, and community governance tools.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account and complete identity verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Lokel Credits

Lokel is a local utility credit used within the Lokel network. It is not a cryptocurrency, security, or investment product. Lokel credits are pegged 1:1 to USD and may only be used for transactions within the Lokel platform. See our Token Disclosure for complete details.

5. Community Governance

Eligible members may participate in community governance through voting on proposals. Governance participation is subject to eligibility requirements and the rules outlined in our Governance Disclosure.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lokel Systems provides the platform on an as-is basis. We are not responsible for disputes between users, property conditions, or other matters outside our direct control. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated to users via email.
